Weir Gabbioneta: Launched the new super plant of the Group in Nova Milanese

Righi Elettroservizi spa was commissioned by Weir, one of the largest engineering companies in the world, to realize the systems and control integrated of the test room built in the new Italian plant in Nova Milanese.

Righi Elettroservizi spa was involved in the engineering development, software and technological systems designed to test the proper functioning of the pumps and Skid provided from Weir Gabbioneta.

The sophisticated system engineered and manufactured by Righi Elettroservizi spa is able to test pump from a few Kw of power to pump up to the power of 8 mega-watts, feed by inverters of medium voltage.

All tests are performed automatically, thanks to the technologies used and the Know Out of Righi Elettroservizi spa is possible to test all pumps produced in the plant, supervising the test procedure from the control room, seated comfortably in front of a series of personal computers that deal to drive independently the testing phases, to produce reports, graphs, and archive the data of each individual transaction.

At the end of the test, it is produced the documents required to the certification of the product.

Launched  the new site, the Managing Director of the Weir Group, Keith Cochrane said: Weir Gabbioneta is part of the Group Flow Control Division. The General Director of the division John Heastley commented, “Weir Gabbioneta is one of the industrial success stories in Italy, which this investiment  is a further proof.
