Assembly and testing of pneumatic valves for the automotive sector.

Description of the supply

Automatic machine for the assembly of details on 4 versions of pneumatic valves. The feeds of the details are made with vibration systems or with tapes and vision systems. Anthropomorphic robots pick up the details and transport them under the work stations. A rotary table positions the parts under an increasing or pressure drop testing system to detect the 0.002 mmBar losses. The complete and tested detail is marked with Laser and packaged on blisters.

Technology used

For the automatic machine, 4 small-sized anthropomorphic robots were used for handling, roaming guide systems for recognizing and measuring incoming components, leakage control systems and marking lasers.

The flexibility and precision of assembly and control are the distinctive elements of this application. The ease of implementation of features for future versions is the main feature.
