Assembly and testing of electric motors for pressure washer.

Description of the supply

Assembly line with free pallets for complete assembly of electric motors. The motor stator is loaded onto the pallet by an anthropomorphic robot, a second robot depaletizes the carcass, positions it for induction heating and accompanies it for embedding with an electric press. Two other Robots load large ORs inside the engine with the use of a vision guide system and calipers suitable for inserting ORs. Other pneumatic stations load the bearings on the casing and on the flange and screw the closure screws.
A station completes the cycle by checking for any pressure losses on 4 motors simultaneously. The palletization on the box is performed by the fifth Robot.

Technology used

For this line, pallet lines, induction heating systems, anthropomorphic robots for handling, pressure loss control systems and point marking were used. The line collects all the assembly and control data on RFID that are downloaded at the end of the process for product traceability.

Distinctive elements

The flexibility of the pallet line and the precision of the robots are the distinctive elements of this application. The ease of implementation of features for future versions is the main feature.
