Tavernelle Val di Pesa (FI), Italy
Plant for the production of pastry mixes with full traceability of the product and raw materials. The project involves the automation of the transport of raw materials from the storage silos up to the impastratrici (mixers) of the various production departments through the selection of automatic production recipes. The traceability of the product is guaranteed by a Scada that interfacing with the automation system, records the stratifications of the material lots present in the silos, scales and mixers.
Hardware and software design and engineering with the supply of electrical distribution and automation panels for the management and control of the entire system.
Siemens S7 300 automation master that talks to Profinet with the impinging machines. The supervision system is made with Scada Intouch where the plan synoptics, recipes, raw materials database (SQL) and the traceability database of the produced lots and material lots reside. The plant is completed by 8 hmi Siemens on local stations. The system consists of 1500 I / O points.
The system includes the insertion in the company MRP of the raw materials that arrive in the plant and, based on consumption, the automatic reordering of the missing raw material. The traceability of the system is facilitated by network applications which interfacing with the traceability database allow the operator in a very simplified way to understand, given a material lot, in which product lots appear, and given a product batch, from which material lots is composed.
Traceability fully integrated from the entry of raw materials to the scheduling of production lots. Increased production efficiency through the automation of product recipes and optimized management of raw material procurement times.
