Regarding the issues of social responsibility business and the International Standard SA8000, in order to promote the knowledge and participation of all the parties involved in the activities carried out in this field by the cooperative, we introduce some informative notes with a brief update on the management system adopted by the company.
The SA 8000 standard is an international standard applied voluntary and sets out a number of requirements to which a company or an organization , need to consolidate the requirements to be recognized as a socially responsible business.In respect of this standard that will guarantee observance of a number of fundamental rules, which mainly concern to the ethics code of work, the protection of the environment and the wealth of the community.The social responsibility business is a mode of doing business in which the focus of the company is not only to achieve economic goals but also to social and environmental goals.
In evaluating the result reached by the company, it will not only look at the economic data but also the contribution that it makes to the social and environmental system, concerning about the quality of the relationships with its employees, suppliers, customers, Communities and institutions. Programmed Plan of Audits 2017 – Internal Checks:Audit in all the standard points, including check of work procedures in the different operating headquarters. Sampling audits in the core business processes by the Systems Manager and Functional Managers during the year. Checks at suppliers sites from RSI. Audit of Certification Authority: Four Audit for SA8000, Environment, Safety and Quality.
Audit for monitoring compliance of the regulations relative of labor-safety in the various operating headquarters are periodically carried out by the function managers and the Manager of the Service Prevention and Protection Department, giving the important evidence through the appropriate module. In additional to the mentioned audits are supplemented periodic inspections of the Competent Doctor, as provided in the current legislation.
The SA8000 System provides periodic monitoring of suppliers and their awareness about the issues of social responsibility business. This monitoring involves the submission of specific documentation regarding the SA8000 standard, with information relative of other systems and management models adopted by Righi Elettroservizi SpA. Suppliers are also verified through inspections at their headquarters.
Company goals are defined and monitored at the Beginning of the year, once every six months for the adoption of the most appropriate actions. On 2017, The company Code of Ethics is highlighted.
